This kit contains everything needed to measure moisture in a variety of materials -from wood to concrete. It contains a MRH moisture meter that takes non destructive moisture readings in brick/plaster, plasterboard and wood, an RH probe coupled with the MRH takes relative humidity/temperature readings, a Compact Moisture Meter for wood which is a probe type resistance meter with built in probes designed to measure moisture content in wood and 3 RH sleeves to take ERH readings all contained in a die cut foam lined case with space for other instruments should you wish to add them later.

The Compact is a hand-held instrument designed to instantly and accurately measure moisture content in wood, wood by-products and building materials such as roofing, insulation, plaster and brick. Using built-in electronic probes, or optional interchangeable electrodes, the Compact measures moisture content which is then indicated on a clearly calibrated analogue dial. The Compact provides a full range of readings, from 7% to 40% moisture in wood, and 0-100 on colour-coded relative scale. This pocket-size, and versatile instrument offers an accurate, fast and convenient way of moisture measurement at a low cost.

These sleeves are used with the RH Probe to measure the ERH of solid walls, floors or structure. It is placed in a pre-drilled hole in the material being assessed and measurements taken and monitored over a time period to establish if it has dried sufficiently. Each Sleeve contains hole liner sleeve, seal and stop. For use with Tramex meters.
