Restoration Express, on behalf of its customers has negotiated preferential rates on many industry leading training courses through the National Flood School. To take advantage of these rates please ask one of the Restoration Express staff for discount information when renting your equipment.Since its beginning 20 years ago the National Flood School (NFS) has strived to be at the forefront of restoration; researching new products, developing new techniques and introducing new training courses that drive standards and efficiencies across the whole industry. The National Flood School is directly involved in writing the BSI Code of Practice for Professional Water Damage Mitigation (PAS 64) as well as running the only 'flood house' training & research facility in Europe. This unique floodable training facility is constructed of 60 common household building materials to form the basis of a fully functional house. For the purpose of the demonstrations and trials, 1500 gallons of water can be pumped into the 'Flood House', thus simulating a major top down pipe leak. This fully controlled and safe environment allows students to experience first-hand, the devastation of flood damage and see how restorative drying techniques can facilitate a quick and inexpensive return to pre-loss condition. The National Flood School delivers a programme of technical training which covers all aspects of fire and flood water damage and the repair and restoration of valuable contents. The National Flood School is also an IICRC Approved School capable of delivering the IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration) syllabus and certification classes for most subjects.Image: Unique flood house facility for "real-life" training» National Flood School web site
